Welcome to the Community!

Hey!! Look who's scrolled down to check the welcome text. I'll give a short welcome to you guys, and a couple of 'thank you' s for whatever button you clicked to have ended up here in this little blog of mine. It's nothing professional, but it surely is special! Not for you maybe, but just for your information I've wasted precious time just to make the blog appear decent and pretty in my opinion - not to mention all of the posts you see here! So don't judge before you actually look into things!
I've added a couple of pages just to organize all the things I have in this blog so that you guys have a better time of searching things up rather than having every post of different topics all jumbled up in one single home page.
Yeah, I think I'm done with my welcome text. Without further ado, welcome to my little blog of thoughts.

*You really didn't need to finish everything to start reading stuff here, but I appreciate it if you have. :)

Book Talk: Ink

Here's the book called Ink, book #1 in the Paper Gods series by Amanda Sun. (Book #0.5 is Shadow)
The story follows an American girl that tries to fit in with the Japanese after her mom's death, being the only way to be cared by her aunt who resides in Japan. Katie Greene, the main protagonist of the book, was starting to feel desperate about her life until the day she found out about Tomohiro, one of the popular kids in school who just happened to be a loner. In an instant, they both felt attracted to each other and started hanging out, despite all the secrets that Tomohiro carries with him. Katie didn't stop there; she stalked him, following him to the places he goes to, and finds out about his dark secret. Tomohiro was a powerful Kami. By that, meaning he was a descendant of the rulers of Japan that possess secret powers - which could be both fascinating and terrifying at the same time. When Tomohiro struggles to fight his inner dark self, Katie stands faithfully with him, supporting him with her love and faith - even when she was reluctantly pulled in deeper into the problems of the Kami.
After facing a few months of troubles and chases, Katie was finally called upon by her grandparents in Canada to go back to America.

How will she spend the rest of her life? Facing terrifying events together with the one she truly loves; or live a safe life with her family far away from her Tomohiro?
Find out in the next book of the Paper Gods series, Rain, coming out in June 24, 2014!

Free prequel, Shadow, available in Harlequin Teen!
