Lauren Kate News: New Book?

Hey there guys! So it seems like I received the news a little late. I checked Lauren Kate's blog yesterday, and guess what I found - she's releasing a new book! Yay!

Now. What is this book that's got some people so incredibly excited? You may have guessed it (or know it for a fact), it's a book from a Fallen character, wait for it...

Cameron Briel! Cam! The Bad Boy!

I'm not sure how you are responding to this, but personally, I would've been more excited (and fangirly) if it were from Daniel Grigori's POV. But alas, some dreams don't come true.
However, let's still appreciate the fact that at least a new Fallen-related book is being released. Or you might be excited already at the sound of Cam's name? Well, that's for you to decide, but here's the official Lauren Kate announcement!

A new booktalk?

Hello fellow Internetians! Long time no (virtual) see!
I have been busy with plenty of schoolwork, and stuff. But this is not exactly a legit post, so. This is a kind-of announcement for a possible booktalk post next week, about... drum roll please... The Fifth Wave! And if you know about it, then you must know that I am severely outdated, because it was published in 2013, and I am reading it two whole years later. And I am embarrassed. Not embarrassed enough to post it online! (sorry.) So, I found out about this book while surfing (the net) and the movie news came out. And I was like, Aliens? Cool! Chloe Grace Moretz? Even cooler! 
That was how I came into the world Cassie, and Ben, and Evan.
News is, I am still halfway through the book. So, you would have to wait until I'm finished first, then I could post something about it. And all that's in my mind right now is, Is Evan gonna die? He's not gonna die, right? Oh please don't let him die! I was also incredibly tempted to search up spoilers. But no. I'm not going to that. I'm a very very good girl, and I do not spoil things for myself, (takes a deep breath), okay.
So if you're reading this, and you think The Fifth Wave sounds pretty cool from the little snippets of thought I put up there, go ahead and read it! Then, you could fangirl with me later on, on my next post. Or, wait for the review to come out, read the non-spoiler section, then go ahead and make your choice.
It's completely up to you.

New Name?

I don't know about you, but I think this blog is starting to fill up with things that are totally unrelated to music and quotes - and still using the name "Music & Quotes" seems kinda weird. ?
I'm not exactly sure yet, but I would most probably start updating a little more with a different blog name. It may be a little more difficult to search this blog up, but if you have this in your bookmarks, it should be fine. *both thumbs up*
I apologize for not being able to update with more reviews or music or the things I'm supposed to post. And I have a totally reasonable excuse to not be doing what I should have. I'm currently working on my Wattpad stories, though my latest one hasn't been posted yet. I'm hoping this new one would come out better than the others, so please help support my stories!

Ohmygosh ohmygosh!
I'm really sorry for this late news, but I'm typing this down as I'm reading the news here! Hihi, I apologize for my late reminder and notice, but Rick Riordan is actually publishing a whole new series based on Norse mythology (i.e. Thor, Loki, Odin, etc.)!!! It was announced some time three months ago, which is why I was apologizing. But yes, a new series called Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard.
You're probably wondering, Hmm, 'Chase' sounds really familiar... And yes, you're probably right, the main character to this new Riordan series is our very Annabeth Chase's UNCLE, Magnus Chase!
So... something to look forward to, 'cause there might be just be some cheesy crossovers somehow.. ?
Another thing, if you guys have already bought the last and final book to the Heroes of Olympus series, Blood of Olympus, know that there is some kind of sneak preview on the new series. How much, I'm not sure, but it is there.
And yeah, Blood of Olympus!!! I haven't bought it yet, but I'm buying it as soon as it hits the bookstore, so... YAY!
To you guys who've already bought it... hmph, I envy you. >_<

The Selection News!

guys... Guys... GUYS!!!

Oh my my my!!! 

I'm literally jumping up and down in excitement right now. You won't believe what I just found out. Okay, so I posted posts relating to a new novella from the Selection series, The Queen, from Queen Amberly's perspective (if you haven't checked that out, go. NOW.) Guess what, they're gonna publish another novella, The Favorite, from Marlee's perspective! And that's not even the best part! 

They're gonna release TWO, not one, but TWO FULL-LENGTH NOVELS! (just having the caps-lock up just in case I didn't get your attention at first) 

WOW! And one full length novel that's gonna be released in Spring 2015 (I know right, that's months away... but as long as we wait in patience, I believe we will not be disappointed. I hope), and it's called The Heir (it's probably some kind of story about America and Maxon's kid? just guessing there.) !

That's 3 months away, people! The final conclusion to the Heroes of Olympus series! I'm both excited and sad... is that weird?

Hmm, a few weeks after the release of Blood of Olympus. We have two amazing books out on October! Get excited!

The Queen (by Kiera Cass): December 2, 2014
I'm thankful that the Selection series isn't entirely over yet. It's just too sad to say goodbye to our Princess America and Prince Maxon. Now we get to know about Queen Amberly, isn't that awesome???

Yoohoo! If you're not as excited as I am, you're weird! Nah, just kidding. But really, shouldn't everyone be excited? :/

Books to look out for in 2014!

Blood of Olympus (by Rick Riordan)

Of course, our favorite group of demigods, travelling towards the ancient land that would either bring them salvation or the end of the world. Let us read this final conclusion to the series that might be the end of the portal to the magical camps of both Greek and Roman demigods. (We can only hope for another series of crossovers between the Egyptians and the Greeks (and the Romans))

Waterfall (by Lauren Kate)

I'm really looking forward to the release of this book, can't wait to find out what Eureka's gonna have in her way. Also waiting on how Ander's gonna break her heart, if he ever did. Poor Brooks, only surviving because of his memories with Eureka when she is already with another guy right now. *sigh*

The Queen (by Kiera Cass)

I was so sad when the Selection series ended, though it was concluded beautifully. But this book is a key to another Selection, which is awesome for me. Also, I really like Queen Amberly.
